Free Blood Pressure Screening in Paramus

The free screening program for hypertension will be offered again for all Paramus residents according to Judith Migliaccio, Borough Health Officer.  This health prevention program will be available on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Paramus Borough Hall.  No appointment is necessary.

Most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick or have noticeable symptoms, but even without being aware of the changes irreparable damage to the heart and other organs can occur.  Therefore, it is very important to have your blood pressure checked regularly, Mrs. Migliaccio added.  Hypertension is a treatable condition which can be monitored with the help of the Board of Health Nurses.
