[ARCHIVED] FROM THE MAYORS DESK- STOP IT NOW!

STOP

I don’t know how else to say this, and to quote my mother "control your kids" and I will add your young adults. We busting our butts with stretched resources trying to help and protect our residents and to be quite frank most disappointed that we have to even field a call or e-mail about groups still playing in our parks and devote any further resources to this controllable and selfish behavior. We see what is coming out of Florida and spring break and shame on us if we allow this in Paramus. STOP IT NOW!
We are not going to police easily controllable behavior (aka babysit) and waste our time or resources arresting, chasing or fining anyone. Instead the next step will be shutting down parks for any and all activities and that would truly be a shame for those that are walking to exercise and help pass the time.
Please share.

Thank You

Mayor Richard LaBarbiera
